He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie Honeycutt Herring; his daughter Marti Herring; his parents, George Herring and Louise Herring (Coleman); his sister Carol Holbert; and his daughter Pamala Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie Osborne (Keith), Morgan Herring (Ashley) and Michelle Joiner (Mark); and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jacob, Joshua, Casey, Nick, Hallie, Brandon, Emma, Elise, Katie, Delaney, Jaycee, Matthew and Michael. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many other cherished friends and family.
