As we bid Sandra farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sandra is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Lee Rice, Sr.; her grandson James Lee Rice; her parents, Red Caldwell and Rosie Caldwell; and her sisters, Alverata Caldwell and Marqueta Caldwell.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Rice, Jr. (Carroll Beaty Rice) of Garland, Brian Rice (Barb Kuzniar Rice) of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Jennifer Rice Bendily (Glenn) of West Monroe. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with other cherished family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (451 LA-151 N, Calhoun, LA 71225).
