With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wanda Lane of West Monroe, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Wanda left this world on May 12, 2026 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Elee Canfield and Audrey Lee Warner Canfield; her husband Nelson Lane; and her son Kenneth Dale Cain. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Devon Cain, Noah Cain, Kolson Cain and Madric Cain (Jasmine Cain); her nieces and nephews, Donna Canfield Anderson (Lindsay), Cathy Canfield McCoy (Glenn), Robert Ryder, Owen Canfield and Luke Hays; and her sisters-in-law, Merle Lane Parker, Barbara Lane Smith and Louise Lane Jones. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Whitesand Baptist Church Cemetery (159 Whitesand Church Rd, Prentiss, MS 39474).
