He is survived by: his wife Pamelia Iris DeHaven Underwood; his children, Sherri Galvan, Sandra Richards, Pamela Lynette Underwood and Buddy Ray Underwood; his brother-in-law Tommy Dehaven (Charlene); his nephew TJ DeHaven; and his grandchildren, Latasha Hernandez (Galdino), Linda Plunkett (Vincent), Bobbie Galvan, Jessica Underwood, Shasta Galvan, Brandon Richards (Emily), Hunter Underwood and Braydin Underwood. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Griffin F. H. (911 Warren Dr, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Cemetery (1936 Cooney Bonnett Rd, Eros, LA 71238).
