He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earl Richard and Loretta Carriere Richard; and his sisters, Mary Stevens and Gloria Jean Coward. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Singleton Richard; his sons, Christopher Bilbo Sr., Carl Richard and Lamar Richard; his stepchild Markal Richard Gamble; his sisters, Loretta Richard of Phoenix and JoAnn Williams of Beaumont, Texas; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Williams and Stevens. He is also survived by 15 grandkids and 3 great grandkids.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Bosco Catholic Church (1301 Sampson St, Westlake, LA 70669). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
