With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Barnes Harrell of Westlake, Louisiana, who passed away on June 4, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Barnes and Raymond Barnes; her husband Wayne Allen Harrell; and her sisters, Nancy Smith and Dorothy Landry.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Harrell of Las Cruces, NM, Charles Harrell of Westlake, Mary Ann Pundt (Danny) of Moss Bluff, James Harrell of Westlake, Melinda Harrell of Westlake and Melissa Harrell of Westlake; and her grandchildren, Taylor Harrell of Lake Charles and Brandon Harrell of Lake Charles. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
