It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas John Fletcher Jr. of Westlake, Louisiana, who passed away on May 23, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thomas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas John Fletcher Sr. and Joyce Hetzel Fletcher. He is survived by: his wife Jean Gray Fletcher; his stepsons, Jimmy Young of Washington, D. C., Derek Young and Jamet Young of Houston, TX; and his brothers, Byron Fletcher (Debbie) and Stuart Fletcher (Kim). He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.
