She is survived by: her sister Barbara Gillespie (Kevin); her nieces and nephews, Chad Gillespie, Cory Gillespie (Kelsey) and Candace Benavides (Isaul); her great-nieces and great-nephews, River, Magnolia and Isaul Emiliano; and her godchildren, Barbara and Chad.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at 531 Ave A, Westwego, LA 70094.
