He was predeceased by: his son Floyd Turner III; his parents, Floyd Turner, Sr. and Lou Annie Turner; his grandparents, Dan and Lou Annie Spears; and his brother Edgar A. Landry.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Whitley Turner; his child Necole Grant; his stepchildren, James and Belinda Edwards; and his siblings, Gene Spears, Janice Edge and Joycelyn Spears. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Church (712 27th St, Gretna, LA 70053). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
