He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Givens, Sr. and Pearline Alexander Givens. He is survived by: his brother James E. Givens, Jr. (Barbara) of Jayess; his sibling's children, James E. Givens, III (Samantha) and Kolby Givens; his great-nephews, Alexander Givens, Dalton Givens, Lucas Givens, Gunnar Givens and Wacey Givens; and his close friend Bruce Orgeron.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sauls Valley Cemetery (311 Givens- Mullins Rd, Jayess, MS 39641). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
