He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wallace Jr. (Pat) and Mary Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Sandee Walker Murphy; his sons, Kane Daniel Murphy (Janel) of Garyville, LA and Jeremy Lawrence Murphy of St. Francisville; his grandchildren, Claire Murphy Oldner (Trace), Jake Murphy and Dayle Murphy; his siblings, Frances Horzelski and John W. Murphy III; and his brother-in-law Ted Roussel.
