With sadness, we share the passing of Helen Russell Brewton of Winnfield, Louisiana. Helen, born on December 4, 1942 in Yazoo City, Mississippi, passed away on September 28, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip A. Russell and Merle Burgess Russell of Benton, Mississippi; her brother Phillip Russell of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; and her granddaughter Mary Helen Cagle of Monroe, Louisiana.. She is survived by: her children, Jason Brewton (Karen) of Monroe and Rachel Brewton Cagle of New Orleans; and her granddaughter Sally Grace Cagle of Baton Rouge.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christ Wesleyan Fellowship of Winn (185 LA-156, Winnfield, LA 71483). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
