He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil L. Alford and Myrtle Batson Alford; his former wife LaMaye Jordan Alford; and his granddaughter Brodie Alford. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Spangler Alford of Winnfield, LA; his son Glen Alford (Anna); his stepchildren, Joey Jordan (Sandy), Angela Dautriel (Paul), Amy Davidson (Jim) and Lori Norwood (Larry); and his friend Billy Webb Gunner. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
