He was predeceased by: his parents, John Douglas "Johnny" Walker and Billie Jean Cole Walker; and his daughter-in-law Rachel Walker. He is survived by: his wife Christine Gaspard Walker; his children, Joliene (Rudy) and Jason (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Walker Sosa, Piper Sosa and Kate Walker.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (772 Country Club Rd, Winnfield, LA 71483). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Friedreichs Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA - donation link at bottom of obituary) in honor of Kate Walker and in memory of Bo's generous spirit and enduring legacy of support of that organization, from the many spaghetti fundraisers to the annual rideATAXIA events, where he contributed his world famous gumbo and was loved by all.
