He is survived by: his wife Reggie Lou Straughan; his daughter Susan Carter (Buck); his daughter-in-law Catherine Straughan; his granddaughter Brittany Gardner; his son-in-law Mike Gardner; his grandchildren, Lance Gardner (Mallorie), Andrew Straughan, Eli Straughan and Meredith Straughan; his great grandchildren, John William Carter, Jack Henry Carter, Macy Hemphill, Jake Hemphíll, Cooper Gardner, Georgia Gardner and Madelyn Gardner; and his great great grandchild Whitleigh Hemphill.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Winnfield (111 E Court St, Winnfield, LA 71483). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
