With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Smith of Winnfield, Louisiana, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Smith to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Jack Smith; her parents, Sam Hubbard and Etta Hubbard; and her brothers, Eugene, Bubba and Tommy Hubbard.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah Henry (Gary), Robert Smith (Scott) and Brenda Usrey (Mickey); her brother Percy Hubbard; and her sisters-in-law, Vicki Hubbard and Nell Fisher. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Southern Funeral Home (202 E Lafayette St, Winnfield, LA 71483). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The Bridge Alzheimer's & Dementia Resource Center, 851 Olive Street, Shreveport, LA 71104 or to the organization of their choice.
