She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Stevens and Tilby DaCosta Stevens; and her sisters, Gayle Sheridan Stevens, Teressa Ann Stevens Carter, Jenny Brenda Stevens Meredith and Althea Darlene Stevens Carter.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Alton Matthews (Jolene) of Merryville and Johnathan Heath Matthews of Winnsboro, Louisiana.; her grandchildren, Breighanna Matthews Beal (Stephen), Scott Matthews, Andrew Matthews and Brooklyn Matthews; her great grandchildren, Ellie Beal and Bennett Matthews; her sisters, Deborah Stevens Chapman of Winnsboro, Louisiana, Kathy Stevens Sanford (Jimmy) of Monroe Louisiana and Cynthia Stevens Huff (Todd) of Winnsboro, Louisiana.; and her caregiver Dee Rayborn. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
