He is survived by : his children, Sherry Smith (Frank) of Mangham, LA, Billy Joe Mercer, Jr. (Cassie) of Mangham, LA and Glen Wayne Mercer (Gayle) of Holly Ridge, LA; and his siblings, Anne Everard (Robert) and Claude Mercer (Carolyn). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
