He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Silkowski of Winnsboro; his foster parents, Abel Templet and Estella Templet; and his siblings, Donna Silkowski Kellogg, Deanne Silkowski Mills Blanchard, Gilda "Gidget" Silkowski Hihar, David Silkowski, Nathan Silkowski and Jay Silkowski.
He is survived by: his daughter Bridgett Silkowski Harper (Harold) of Delhi; and his siblings, Glenn Silkowski (Patricia) of Mesquite, TX and Margaret "Midge" Silkowski Bartlett (Christopher) of Daytona Beach, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dennard First National Funeral Home (6637 Main St, Winnsboro, LA 71295).
