He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred James Marshall and Sally Jester Marshall; his mother-in-law Ruby Davis; his granddaughter Rachel Karen Pritchard; and his sister Lindy Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn A. Davis Marshall; his daughters, Dawn Elmore (Donnie), Melanie Mulberry (Ronnie), Cindy Pritchard (Steve), Dianna Haring (Bo) and Tammy Hendricks; his grandchildren, Josh Carr (Sydney), Brett Mulberry (London), Makenzie Mulberry, Dallas Elmore, Darcy Elmore (Zac Watkins), Vance Pritchard (Anna), Cassie Curtis (Blake), Sarah Haring, Brett Haring and Brad Thibodeaux; his great grandchildren, Blakely, Eleanor, Ella, Owen, Grace, Jack and Archie; and his brother Harvey "Butch" Marshall (Linda).
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Donald Marshall Memorial Scholarship for the Northeast LA Livestock Show, Inc. (P.O. Box 726 Delhi, La 71232), LA Farm Bureau Scholarship Foundation, Ferriday Methodist Church (The Donor name, Donor address and we also need a name and address of a family member. We send a letter to the family letting them know that a donation has been made in honor of their loved one.
