She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Samuel Cox and Anna Lou Keller; her brother Charles Cox; and her sons, William Irving Everett, Kent Taylor Everett and Scott Randall Everett.

She is survived by: her husband Van Buren Everett; her children, Charles Vance Everett and Kimberly Everett Lord; and her grandchildren, Vanessa Everett Miller, Christopher Everett, Alex Everett, Tiffany Everett DePetris, Amy Everett, Randalleigh Everett, Taylor Jason Everett, Tristen Everett and Sarah Lord. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dennard First National Funeral Home (6637 Main St, Winnsboro, LA 71295). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dennard First National Funeral Home Chapel (6637 Main St, Winnsboro, LA 71295).
