He is survived by: his wife Inez Yocks Moroni of Gilbert; his son Doug Roberson (Cynthia) of Wisner, Louisiana.; his granddaughters, Melissa McCoy (Jake) and Emily Schmidt (Steven); his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jayden Schmidt, Gage and Camille McCoy; his siblings, Bill Moroni (Shirley), John Moroni (Linda), Mike Moroni (Sharon) and Nancy Ashcraft (late Jake); and his close friends, Frank Eckard, Dennis Boyette, James Richmond, Johnny Carroll, Ron Ellerbe, Billy Gore, Cooper, Mike Winchester, Tom King, Gerald Sitz, Gary Robinson and Greg Richmond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (502 Highland St, Winnsboro, LA 71295). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
