He is survived by: his wife Patricia Faye Lachney of Wisner; his children, Rebecca Diane Lachney of Wisner, Larry Randall "Pete" Lachney (Phyllis) of Gilbert and Brandy Nicole Lachney of Wisner; his brother Larry Melvin Lachney (Darlene) of Gilbert; and his grandchildren, Leann Lachney, Chrystal Guthrie (Chris), Christian Ainsworth and Randall Ainsworth. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of extended family.
