It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mack Bass of Wisner, Louisiana, who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Mack is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mack's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Bass; his children, Arvell Bass (Karry), Billy Bass and Marilyn Carlin (BJ); and his siblings, Ralph Bass and Elaine Hoover (Victor). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and friends.
