It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rocky Lane Gallagher of Wisner, Louisiana, born in Winnsboro, Louisiana, who passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie A. Gallagher and Nancy Cassels Gallagher; and his brothers, Charlie Edward Gallagher and Larry Gallagher. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McDaniel Gallagher of Wisner; his children, Lesley Hunt (Chris) of Gilbert and Jeffery Gallagher (Kasey) of Wisner; his grandchildren, Garrett Hunt of Gilbert, Elijah Hunt of Gilbert, Easton Hunt of Gilbert, Caden Gallagher of Wisner, Kason King of Wisner, Logan King of Wisner, Lilly King of Wisner and Kaylee Roberts (Tanner) of Wisner; his great grandchild Blaire Roberts of Wisner; and his siblings, Mildred Minchew (Boone) of Baskin, Jeannie Gallagher of Winnsboro, Brendra Jacobs (Barry) of Sikes, Barbara Parker (Jimmy) of Sikes, Jimmy Dale Gallagher (Brenda) of Fort Necessity, Glenn Gallagher (Joan) of Extension, Lamar Gallagher (Linda) of Fort Necessity and Richard Gallagher (Terri) of Fort Necessity. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
