She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardy Pierce and Maybelle Pierce; her husband Robert Manley Speights, Jr.; and her sons, Richard Helm and Danny Helm.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mamie Trichell of Monroe and Patsy Strother of Glenmora; her daughters-in-law, Linda Helm of Pensacola and Bess Helm of Monroe; and her stepdaughters, Karen Weaver of Evant, Kim Cody of West Monroe and Lori Laborde of Eros. She is also survived by four grandsons; one granddaughter; five great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
