Philip leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Philip’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Philip will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Connie Eldridge Beard; and his father Eugene H.. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Beard, Noel Beard Debord, Elizabeth Neal, Jimmy Neal (Angie) and Brian Neal (Vianey); his brother Fred Allen Beard (Betty); and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Jo Eldridge Gross and Garrie Eldridge Ferrington (Sissie). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kramer Chapel (2905 Masonic Dr, Alexandria, LA 71301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kramer Funeral Home (2905 Masonic Dr, Alexandria, LA 71301). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Alexandria Memorial Gardens (8855 US-165, Woodworth, LA 71485).
