She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Karen (James Broussard), Jenny Albarado, Burley Broussard Jr., Robert Broussard, Darrel James Bourque, Dianne Broussard, Tammy McDonald and Donna St. Amant. She is also survived by fifteen great nieces and nephews; thirty-six great-great nieces and nephews; and three great-great-great nieces and nephews.

“I worked with Maria when I started with Southern Bell in 1963…. she was such a nice lady. I remember when she told me about a night that her Noah had gone and when they would get back home she would have to get down and open the garage door to bring the car in. That night as she opened the garage door an Armadillo ran through her legs …🤣😂. She had us all laughing !!! She was a sweetheart 💕”
