She is survived by: her children, Weldon Cordell Knighton and Minty S. Knighton of Zachary, Louisiana; her daughter-in-law Petrina; her grandson Aydon P. Knighton of Allen, Texas; and her siblings, Bernice Whitley of Zachary, Louisiana and Sterling Whitley of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
