It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barney Carl Haney (Zachary, Louisiana), born in Ferriday, Louisiana, who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Ann Haney; his parents, Leo Haney and Artie Mae Haney; his son Timothy Haney; his siblings, Mike Haney, Joan Hensley, Randy Haney, Carlton Brewer and Jerry Haney; his great grandchild Alexis Norred; and his granddaughter Brooke Haney.
He is survived by: his children, Candice Campo (Adam Campo), Dina Haney, Stephanie Leblanc, Lauren Cmiel and Steve Haney; his sister Brenda Waddell (Otis Waddell); his grandchildren, Kendall Campo, Karsyn Haney, Brian Haney, Kade Cmiel and Connor Flowers; and his great grandchildren, Reba Norred, Alexandra Norred, Brooklyn Norred and Alissa Haney.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. (4230 High St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
