With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daryl William Wascom of Zachary, Louisiana, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his mother Loretta; and his brother Wendell Kyle Wascom. He is survived by: his pet Buddy; his wife Valarie Wascom; his daughter Jessica Wascom Hansel (Chris); his stepsons, Darrin Delatte and Nicholas Delatte (Rachel); his grandchildren, Joshua Stratton, Jase Stratton and Audrey Delatte; his brother Brad Wascom; and his sister-in-law Lisa Wascom.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brandon G Thompson Funeral Home (12012 US-190, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the New Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
