He was predeceased by: his brother Fred Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Sara Wagner; his sons, Thomas Wagner (Melanie) of Denham Springs and Daniel Wagner of Houston, TX; his brother James Wagner; and his grandchildren, Victoria Wagner and Peyton Wagner.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Zachary (4200 Main St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (4200 Main St, Zachary, LA 70791).
