He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry, Sr. Allen and Martha Earnest Allen; his grandparents, Albert, Amelia Washington Earnest, Dennis and Georgia Hilliard Allen; his siblings, Georgia Lee Allen and Ricky Jerome Allen; his nephew Allen Ginyard; his niece Kimberly Williams; and his parents-in-law, Chris Doherty, Sr. and Georgia Eames Doherty.
He is survived by: his wife Mable Doherty Allen; his daughter Demetria "Renee" Allen; his siblings, Blanche Allen Ginyard, Ledoris Allen, Amelia Allen Hilliard, Albert Allen, Michael Allen and Melvin Earnest (Evelina); his grandchildren, Deosha Ryshel Allen, Aaron Christopher McKinsey and Allen Henry McKinsey; his great grandchild Kenna Renee Boudreaux; his siblings-in-law, Mary Lee Doherty and Chris Doherty, Jr. (Betty); and his aunt Dorothy Ernest. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:59 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:59 AM at the St. Peter Baptist Church (9109 Tunica Trace, St Francisville, LA 70775).
