He was predeceased by: his father James H. Creel Sr.; his stepfather Carl Rogers; and his grandmother Lillian Cockerham. He is survived by: his significant other Edie Creel; his children, Kristina Sutherland (Kenny), Alex Hall (Destiny) and Caitlin Creel (Nathan); his mother Patsy Rogers; his sisters, Judy Fruge' (Tim), Monica Rogers, Tamara Moreno and Michelle Florence; and his grandson James Paul "JP" Kling. He is also survived by many adopted children, and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. (4230 High St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
