He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Andrew Saxton and Lula Harper Saxton; and his son Jeffery Harold Saxton. He is also survived by loving wife of 68 years, 4 children and spouses, 11 grandchildren and spouses, 32 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, as well as a myriad of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. (4230 High St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
