She was predeceased by: her husband William Shields; her mother Evelyn Romero; her siblings, Joyce Dusang, Paul, George and Lionel Romero; her nephew Dean Bollmeyer; and her pets, Lucy and Lady Diana.
She is survived by: her nephews, Kyle (Tammy Dusang), Scott (LeAnn Dusang), Gilbert Rico, Danny (Donna Dusang) and Thomas Dusang. She is also survived by her Piebald Dachshund, Sha’Ree.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. (4230 High St, Zachary, LA 70791).
