He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Lea Sr. and Ruth Lea. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gentry Lea; his sons, Maxwell Lea III (Kellie) of Ft. Worth, TX, Adam Lea (Katie) of Zachary and Philip Lea (Maggie) of Dallas, TX; and his stepdaughters, Kristen McCool (Trey) of Mayville, WI and Audrey Bell (Randy) of Zachary.
