He is survived by: his wife Mary Simpson Stagg; his sons, John Philip Stagg (Amie LeTard Stagg) and Perry Richard Stagg (Misty Gant Stagg); his grandchildren, Collin John Stagg (Lindsay), Brittany Stagg Cooper (Logan), Odom Philip Stagg (Madison), Jamie Paige Stagg, Presleigh Reese Stagg and Ethan Jacob Stagg; and his great grandchildren, Lillian Claire Stagg, Cate Elliot Cooper, John Michael Stagg, Claire Elise Cooper, Bennett Odom Stagg, Carter Hayes Cooper and Andie June Stagg.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Zachary (4200 Main St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (4200 Main St, Zachary, LA 70791).
