He was predeceased by: his wife Roxie Benoit; and his parents, Joseph Benoit and Lola Benoit. He is survived by: his son John Levi "Lea" Benoit (Libby); and his sisters, Dahlia Allen (Sidney) and Faith Benoit (Teddy).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. (4230 High St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
