He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald DeWitt Hunt Sr. and Shirley Claire Hunt; his in-law Clara Dodson; his sister Da'Anne Lipscomb (Jim); his brother-in-law Mickey Dodson; and his sibling's children, Jennifer Hunt and McDavid.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Dodson Hunt; and his siblings, Don Hunt (Rosalyn), Jeff Hunt (Sherlyn), Ginger Kent (Mike), Stacy Denicola (Mike), Brad Hunt (Kathy) and Tara Jones (Matt).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to support cancer research at St. Jude's Research Hospital.
