He was predeceased by: his father Walter H. Achord Jr.; his sisters, Lynda Achord Ficklin and Deana Achord Martin; and his niece Jessica Achord Clay. He is survived by: his mother Judy Achord of Louisiana; and his siblings, Dwayne Achord (Cindy) of Louisiana, Angela Wegerzyn (John) of Texas, Markus Achord of Florida and Michael Achord (Teshia) of Louisiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
