He is survived by: his children, Charles Laroux Jr. (Tammy) of Zavalla, Walter Laroux of Michigan, Joann Hernandez (Margarito) of Huntsville and Melissa Balderas (Gume Morelos) of Corsicana, Texas; his sisters, Barbara Meshell of Splendora and Sue Ellen Remedies (Ronnie) of Zwolle; and his sister-in-law Patsy Laroux of Noble, Louisiana. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
