It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Gail Peskin (Acton, Massachusetts), who passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Carol's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Carol has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Peskin of Lincoln and Brenda Gowing; her son-in-law Mike Gowing of Acton; her brother Rick; her sister-in-law Shelley Green; her sister Adele; her brother-in-law Mike Turnbull; and her sister Nancy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
But later, and especially during the 2020 pandemic, she resumed poetry as an art and creative outlet to share with others. For a good solid 10 months - while many of us were grappling with the pandemic, her friends and family received a daily poem about the world around us, nature and her beloved backyard birds.
