Edward Flannery Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2022, Edward Flannery of Acton, Massachusetts, born in Concord, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Joan Flannery (Cooke); and his parents, John J. Flannery and Violet G. Flannery (Riley). He is survived by : his children, Barbara Smith, Sherri Hodgson (Mark), Debbie Dionne (Ribby), John Flannery (Vickie), Richie Flannery (Kathy), Eddie Flannery (Tracey) and Jan Flannery (Joe Burk). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

His particular contributions to the student-athletes of Acton included multiple renovations of the varsity football field, reconstruction of the varsity baseball dugouts and the creation of the Mass Ave tennis courts.
