Josephine (Massa) Miele Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine (Massa) Miele (Acton, Massachusetts), who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Luigi Massa and Angelina Massa; and her brother Michael Massa. She is survived by: her children, Roseanna Coleman (Rooney) of Wilton, CT, Gina Van Natten (Matthew) of Harding, NJ, Mario Miele (Tracy) of Rutland, MA, Angela Chamberland (Jamie) of Stow, MA, Adriana Geldart (Zachary) of Lancaster, MA and Antonella Hart (John) of Maynard, MA; her grandchildren, Grace, Harry, Joseph, Josephine, Matthew, Paul, Thomas, Kathryn, Lauren, Giuliana, Alexander and Cameron; and her sister Carmela Porfino of Maynard, MA..

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Acton Funeral Home (470 Massachusetts Ave, Acton, MA 01720). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridget's Cemetery (254 Great Rd, Maynard, MA 01754).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The March of Dimes, in honor of her lifelong dedication to caring for children.
