He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Wendy Bedient of New Bedford; his brothers, Dale and Caimen Mello of Fairhaven; his close friend Shawn Jones; and his grandfather Harry Bedient. He was also cherished by his maternal grandmother, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
