He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. "Stuffy" McGinnis and Dorothy Kirchner McGinnis; his former wife Linda Alice Doyle McGinnis; his daughter Tracy A. McGinnis Horton; his stepmother Helen Zuorsky McGinnis; and his siblings, Harry, Fred McGinnis, Evelyn Bandurski and Sonny Zuorsky.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Devio McGinnis; his children, Daniel McGinnis, Jr. (Rebecca) of Ballston Lake, NY and Mary Kay DeZess (Todd) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Colin (Amber), Tommy, Aaron DeZess (Nathaly), Alex, Jacob Horton and Lindsey McGinnis.
