He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry M. Kirchner and Eileen M. Kirchner Wojcik (White); his son David J. Kirchner; his sister Iris Martin; his stepmother Laura Abbott Kirchner; and his stepbrothers, William Abbott and Theodore Abbott.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta M. Urbanek; his daughters, Paula "Sammy" Lee (Ken) of Brooklyn, NY and Norah Wood (Chris) of Cheshire; his grandchildren, John Bresett of Fleischmanns, NY, Matthew Bresett of Medford, MA, Summer Lee of Brooklyn, NY and Raymond Lee of Brooklyn, NY; and his sisters, Joan Lavoie (Richard) of Northborough, MA, Judy Carpenter (Jimmy) of Adams and Theresa Abbott Miner (Donald) of Saratoga Springs, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
