With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rene' V. Gazaille of Adams, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Joan Belini; and his sister Rita Gazaille. He is survived by: his wife Rosetta M. Betolati; his sons, Dennis Gazaille of Boca Raton, FL, Mark Gazaille (Laurie) of North Adams and Michael Gazaille of Adams; his daughter-in-law Nancy Scerbo of Williamstown; his siblings, Norman Gazaille (Kathy) of Ocala, FL, Dorothy Schonfelder (Fran) of Adams, Claire Caparello (Dom) of Tallahassee, FL and Debra Connor (Jeff) of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Denee, Delany, Mark, Jr., Curtis, Jenna, Derek, Jessie, Peter and Angela; his nephew Brock Gazaille; and his caregiver Debbie Biegiebing, RN of Hospice Care. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires, 877 South St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
