It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anatolig Afanasiew of Agawam, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Afanasiew and Alexandra Afanasiew; and his son Ivan Afanasiew. He is survived by: his wife Gloria (Guilmette); his children, Anthony, Eric Afanasiew, Tammy and Tina Afanasiew; and his sisters, Nadia Folger and Tania O'Neil. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
